Healthy Chocolate Balls

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup almond butter (or any nut butter of choice)

  • 1/4 cup raw honey or maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Pinch of Celtic salt

  • Optional: shredded coconut, chopped nuts, or cocoa powder for coating

Instructions:

  1. In a food processor, blend rolled oats until they form a fine powder.

  2. Add almond butter, raw honey or maple syrup, unsweetened cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the food processor.

  3. Pulse until all ingredients are well combined and form a sticky dough.

  4. If desired, add shredded coconut, chopped nuts, or extra cocoa powder to the dough for added texture and flavor.

  5. Using clean hands, roll the dough into small balls, about 1 tablespoon each, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  6. Optional: Roll each ball in shredded coconut, chopped nuts, or cocoa powder for coating.

  7. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up the chocolate balls.

  8. Once firm, store the chocolate balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
