Chana Masala

IIngredients:

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped

  • 1 can of chickpeas

  • 1/4 cup coconut milk

  • A piece of ginger

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp Garam Masala

  • 1 tsp ground coriander

  • 1/2 tsp cumin

  • 1/2 tsp chili powder

Directions:

  1. In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent.

  2. Add chopped garlic and ginger to the skillet and continue to sauté for another minute.

  3. Sprinkle paprika, Garam Masala, ground coriander, cumin, and chili powder into the skillet. Stir well to coat the onions, garlic, and ginger with the spices.

  4. Add a can of chickpeas with their liquid to the skillet. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 10 minutes.

  5. Stir in 1/4 cup of coconut milk to the skillet to add a creamy texture. Allow the mixture to heat through for another 2-3 minutes.

  6. Remove the skillet from the heat.

  7. Enjoy your delicious dish!
